LUXOS Recommends: The nine-course Tokubetsu-Kaiseki Dinner
Authentic Thai food can be hard to find in Switzerland but look no further. Come to the White Elephant (at the Zurich Marriott Hotel) for a real taste of Thailand, with an enticing range of curries beyond the normal red or green. Friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere round off a great place. October sees the lively Thai Food Market, a definite must for Thai food lovers.
LUXOS Recommends: Panang curry with black tiger prawns
The best things come in small packages, and that’s so true of this restaurant which isn’t huge but is certainly wonderful. Misoga means the House of Smiles and once you meet the happy owner, Jaesim Park-Kim, you can see why it has that name. This Oriental oasis near the Kunsthaus offers a tantalising array of tasty dishes (all cooked by a Korean chef) with friendly service.
LUXOS Recommends: Sogogi Bibimbap, or marinated beef and rice hot pot served with kimchi
