Venice’s mystique runs deep within its tiny islands, each with a history of its own. From the popular Giudecca and San Giorgio Maggiore, to idyllic San Michele, Murano, Burano, San Pietro di Castello and Sant’Elena, Venice truly reveals itself this season when most of the crowds have gone. Steeped in regional traditions, Venice’s culture and cuisine is proud to be local

Grand Canal
Grand Canal, with a breathtaking terrace right on the water, is just as cosy in the cooler season with romantic indoor seating and classic Venetian specialities. With many types of seafood to choose from, tuck into signatures such as pilgrim scallops au gratin with a lobster crust, Venetian fish risotto, and monkfish with sweet peppers and red prawns. In addition, a wonderful selection of duck, lamb, veal and beef will without doubt whet your appetite for true gourmet cuisine, as part of the Preferred Hotel Group experience.

Long-lost Venetian wines brought back by the Bistrot will give you a new insight into olden-day Venice.
