Chiostro Del Bramante

For some of Rome's hidden gems and undercover treasures, head to the Chiostro Del Bramante.

by Livia Hengel

A Renaissance masterpiece designed by Donato Bramante in the 15th century, this cloister hosts some of Rome’s most interesting temporary exhibitions and houses one of Rome’s best kept secrets: a café that offers an aesthetic respite away from the bustle of the historic centre. Chiostro del Bramante is an evocative place at which to enjoy a bite to eat or an afternoon coffee with views overlooking the inner courtyard.
