Led by a young and talented chef, Luciano Monosilio, Pipero Roma first opened its doors in 2010 and quickly became the go-to address for gourmet dining. Positioned in front of the Oratorio degli Fillippini, the restaurant is one of the best you'll find in the eternal capital nowadays. Chef Monosolio previously collaborated with the Roscioli brothers and great Italian chefs, among them Pierangelini and Crippa. Alongside his business partner Alessandro Pipero, Chef Monosilio brought the restaurant to its glory when he was awarded his first Michelin star just one year later, in 2011. Since then, he has been awarded many honours including 'Best Emerging Chef' and the restaurant won 'Novelty of the Year' in 2013 by the Italian source, L'Espresso. Expect elegant interiors and seating across two floors. This is a place you'll be compelled to write home about: Chef Monosilio delivers intense and distinctly rich flavours into each dish. The creative approach to combining seemly contrasting ingredients results in a perfectly balanaced fusion, while retaining the element of surprise at each bite. Photos simply won't do justice, but experience goes the distance.
