Ice skating at the Grand Palais

Not just one of the city’s best-loved museums, the Grand Palais turns into a winter wonderland each season.

Paris in December and January is simply the birthplace of romance. Even one of the most grandiose museums, the Grand Palais, puts on a less serious face for the season of love. Its impressive nave coiffed with a 1900s Art Nouveau glass roof transforms into the world’s biggest indoor ice rink. One of the most beautiful spots in the city, watch the shadows change on the ice as the sun shines through the glass. At night, the rink becomes a disco open until 2 am.
