Parc Monceau

Stroll through history at this lovely flower-lined Parisian park.

If you’re looking to relax in the city of lights there are many lovely parks to take a walk in. But, if you’re looking for a special park with a lot of history and beautiful beds of flowers, Parc Monceau is the place for you. The Duke of Chartes acquired the piece of land in 1769 and buildings of all periods and styles were built in the park, even a river was built and of course the famous Naumachie, the basin surrounded by columns is also located there. If you want to paint some lovely scenery and flowers or just admire them, this is the park for you.
