In Paris it isn’t hard to accidentally bump into a cute coffee shop, but if you truly want a special caffeine experience, Coutume Café Paris is the place for you. The coffee shop was founded in 2010 by Antoine Nétien and Tom Clark. In 2011 Nétien became the ‘best French roaster,’ and he was prized this title for a reason. Coutume Café focuses it’s attention to all phases of the coffee production process, from planting the bean to the actual coffee in the cup. The coffee beans are carefully selected from five different continents, and throughout the year Coutume explores the different beans from around the world. The selected beans ususally correspond to the seasonality of the bean and where it came from. In the Paris store all the baristas are dedicated to preserve the taste and freshness of every coffee bean. And aside from the impeccable coffee, the store is a fun experience with so beautiful food options as well.
