The Flagship Heritage is an important watch for Longines, a piece that has reached its 60th anniversary this year, 2017. It is hallmarked by its clean, minimalist lines. In the version signed by Kate Winslet, the yellow gold case gives extra luminosity to the silvered dial, harmonizing with the lovely strap.
In addition to the five-piece limited edition, three other editions are available to mark the anniversary, one in rose gold (60 pieces), one in yellow gold (60 pieces) and one in steel (1,957 pieces). All have the distinctive ship motif on the caseback. Inside is the automatic L609 movement based on the ETA 2892. At 38.5 mm diameter, with no date window and a beautifully simple design, it is the perfect dress watch.
