From 24 June to 7 July 2013, visitors to London will be able to view IWC's watches at The Watch Gallery in Selfridges Wonder Room. The exhibition will focus on the new watches in the 2013 Ingenieur collection, strongly influenced by the brand's engineering partnership with the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One team. The dates have been chosen for their proximity to the British Grand Prix to be held at Silverstone.

The Wonder Room's concept store will be transformed into a virtual wind tunnel, the first time a department store has staged anything similar. The exhibition will take visitors behind the scenes, revealing the remarkable synergy between two areas of engineering operating at very different scales, the miniature precision of watches and the power and aerodynamics required for Formula One. A Mercedes AMG Petronas simulator show-car will be available, so that visitors can get a first-hand taste of the world of racing.

The watches presented include the entire Ingenieur collection, with the exclusive UK unveiling of the Ingenieur Constant Force Tourbillon (shown in the photo above). The exhibition will also highlight some vintage Ingenieur watches dating back to the 1950s.

So, if you're in London from 24 June to 7 July, don't miss a visit to Selfridges and its Wonder Room!
