So many women's watches are just men's watches made smaller, simpler, and more decorative, with diamonds encircling the bezel and tipping the crown. The Rendez-Vous collection by Jaeger-LeCoultre offers a different approach. Feminine grace is immediately apparent, with the glittering bezel, blued hands, strap in lovely blue or black leather, and an engaging dial design with day-night indicator in a crescent at 6 o'clock, large hour numerals that recall 1930s and Art Deco, and a hand-guilloché dial face. The watch has a very individual design that will appeal to women of personality.
But the sapphire case back also reveals a fine automatic movement, with oscillating weight and the maison's habitual perfection of finish. It is made in two sizes, 29 and 34 mm, in pink gold and steel versions.
The watch was presented in cooperation with brand ambassador Diane Kruger, actress (Troy, Inglorious Basterds, and the upcoming Farewell My Queen), ballerina and model.
We look forward to presenting more photos and a complete review.
