Momodesign has presented the new automatic chronograph named Composito, at Baselworld 2010. It is remarkable for being totally modular, so that it can be disassembled. It is made in a range of materials, both high-tech and high value, as can be expected from this luxury watches brand . It was designed by the company's Style Office in Milan, and it has a titanium case 46 mm in diameter, with an ETA Valjoux Soigné 7750 movement, an anti-reflection sapphire watch glass, and buttons at the 2 and 4 o'clock positions. The watch is also available in four exclusive limited editions, with case in pink gold, ergal, forged carbon, and ceramic.
The strap bars are fixed to the case using a patented screw mechanism. The case back is also innovative, with an unusual structure, featuring the House logo in relief. The dial is black, with secondary dials at the 6, 9 and 12 o'clock positions, white hour index marks, skeleton hands in aluminium, and a date window at the 4 o'clock position. The watch is guaranteed waterproof up to 10 atmospheres, and the strap is in TVSIP, a special rubber composite, with push-open buckle, underlining the sports heritage for this watch which is also eloquently expressed by stylish high-tech design. The version with titanium case has a price tag of euro 2,180.
