Place Vendôme, the heart of luxury in palace, was set alight by a light show projected from the column at the centre of the square to mark the opening of the Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique at number 7. This new flagship provides a generous 500 square metres floor space, making it the largest Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique in the world.
The inauguration saw the presence of Jérôme Lambert, Jaeger-LeCoultre CEO, with Diane Kruger, face of the brand's women's collection, and Guillain Maspetiol, Jaeger-LeCoultre Brand Manager for France. Amongst the guests were Catherine Deneuve, Carmen Chaplin, Isabelle Huppert, Inès de la Fressange, Vincent Perez, José Luis Rebordinos, Olga Sorokina, and Marina Hands.
The boutique opening was celebrated by a 100-piece limited edition, the Duomètre Unique Travel Time, in white gold, with two red 7 and 9 numerals applied on the dial in reference to the address of the Boutique. The Duomètre Unique Travel Time is a GMT watch which, for the first time ever, enables the user to adjust the time in the travel time zone to the nearest minute.
