The SW range of watches is now available in Jaquet Droz boutiques. These pieces are an interesting combination of the latest sports watch trends in visual appearance, with the traditional Droz 'figure-of-eight' aesthetic that has become one of its hallmarking features.
The Jacqet Droz SW tourbillion has an 18-carat red gold case, with hours and minutes on the lower dial, and a tourbillon above, which also provides the seconds indication. The look of the dial is very modern, with its notched bezel, rubber-coated face contrasting with the gold, and a black rubber knurled disc on the crown making adjustment easier. Skeletonized hands have touches of SuperLuminova at the tips. The Jaquet Droz 25JD-S movement provides a power reserve of about seven days.
A sapphire caseback provides a view of the movement and of the black PVD-finish rotor that winds the automatic watch. The strap is also an interesting combination, a stainless steel band covered with black alligator, providing classical looks with great strength.
The same overall appearance is shared by the Grande Seconde SW, in stainless steel with black and grey accents, and strap in rubber or alligator leather, again with components in steel.
