Louis Vuitton has long been associated with the America's Cup regatta, and so it is no surprise that its latest series of regatta watches has been tailored specifically to this year's America's Cup World Series. The watch has an automatic movement that provides a five-minute countdown, corresponding to this year's rules. In fact, for this, the 34th series, the current defender Oracle Team USA requested a 5-minute countdown. The watch, in a limited edition of 720 pieces, is a large piece, 44 mm diameter, with a striking red and black dial bearing the America's Cup logo, an automatic Dubois-Dépraz chronograph movement calibre LV 171, with flyback chronograph and regatta functions. The power reserve is 42 hours. The black rubber strap, along with the dial design, gives it a very sporty and smart appearance. Price is about $11,600.
