Camel racing is not only a popular spectator sport, but also a practice deeply rooted in Emirati tradition. Races generally take place on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays throughout the winter season. Two races are the norm, with morning races beginning at 7.30 a.m. and afternoon races at 2.30 p.m. We suggest you catch an afternoon training session where the sheer number of camels is astonishing.

Diwali is an important five-day festival known as the 'festival of lights.’ It is celebrated for different reasons in Hinduism, Jainism, and Sikhism. The Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) is an annual shopping, entertainment and cultural extravaganza drawing people from around the world for its discounts, daily car raffles and nightly fireworks.
