Céline has opened a new standalone boutique at 53 Avenue Montaigne in Paris. The new 6,500-square foot store spans over two floors, which are connected by a coiling staircase.
Unique furniture displays the label’s most popular handbag styles in colourful precious skins. The main floor, paved in grey Vicenza stone, is dedicated mainly to leather goods, and boasts views of a leafy courtyard.
As customers browse the store they can discover Céline’s spring/summer 2014 tailored fashion pieces alongside, footwear, eyewear and costume jewellery collections.
The Paris store is located in a Haussmann-era building and is one of 15 new Céline stores slated to open this year. Among scheduled openings are a 7,000-square-foot unit with 90 feet of frontage on Omotesando in Tokyo, set to open at the end of the month; a 4,300-square-foot store in Crystals at CityCenter in Las Vegas, set to open May 14; and another on Wooster Street in New York’s SoHo district set to open in late August.
