NEVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT
I always travel with a Uniqlo folded down jacket and a pair of running shoes. There's nothing better than being able to go for an early morning jog, anywhere in the world, before a busy day meeting with clients.
My style never changes when I travel. My favourite tailor is of course, DSquared2, they mix the trans-Atlantic Canadian cool and Italian chic style to perfection. When I'm in London my shoemaker is John Lobb on 9 St. James Street.
PLACE TO RETURN TO
I've travelled all over, but I love Japan and, of course, Tokyo. If there's one place to go back to for style inspiration, the best looking people and the best architecture, it would always be there. I like to stay at the Conrad Tokyo and the best restaurant is Kozue at Park Hyatt – I have the FUGU Fish, that's the only place to try it.
ONE NIGHT IN
I was in London last night and I have discovered Novikov, a great Asian restaurant (there's also an Italian part). Great food, I had a lovely dinner. It's the perfect place to be when you're there on business and want one beer and then bed.
Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. A real 7 stars hotel. With the views over the Arabian Coast and concierge services to cater for your every whim, this palace is the place to go for magnificent service
Lapo Elkann. His style has been influenced by his grandfather, Gianni Agnelli and he always looks the impeccable Italian gentleman.
FAVOURITE STORES ABROAD
For sure Maxfield in Los Angeles, Colette in Paris and Dover Street Market in London
