Eden Roc, May 20, 2010 – As a great supporter of AIDS charity organizations, Chopard and Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele, co-chair of the evening, are proud to announce their participation once again in the 17th Cinema Against AIDS gala event in Cannes, organised by amfAR (American Foundation for Aids Research).
Over the years, Cinema Against AIDS has become one of the most anticipated and sought after events held during the Cannes Film Festival. Attending this event are some of the most glamorous stars to be seen on the Croisette, as well as famous personalities from the worlds of film, fashion, music, business and international society.
Strongly committed to the fight against AIDS, Chopard is especially proud to work with amfAR at this remarkable event. Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele, who has faithfully supported amfAR for many years offered for the auction that will be led by Sharon Stone a beautiful watch from the Elton John collection (created to benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation) in rose gold set with diamonds on a chocolate coloured bracelet.
The gala takes place at the Hotel Du Cap Eden Roc and many of the stars attending chose to wear Chopard jewellery for the evening.
Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele, the Co-President of Chopard chose to wear a stunning pair of earrings in 18ct white and rose gold each set with briolette, square and fancy cut diamonds totalling 95cts as well as a crabe bracelet from the Animal World collection set with yellow, black and white diamonds, rubies (5cts) and yellow sapphires for a total of 8cts and 1 grey pearl (32cts).
