Vincent Cassel wears Giorgio Armani for the opening of the 67th Venice International Film Festival


The stars descended on Venice last night for the kick off of the 67th Venice International Film Festival, which began with the premier of Darren Aronofsky’s psychological thriller Black Swan, starring Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis.

The festival continues until 11 September, with international juries awarding 5 cinema awards. Director Quentin Tarantino presides over the jury awarding the Venezia 67 prize.

Coinciding with the Film Festival is the Venice Architecture Biennale, which began the 29th of August and will run until 21 November. Directed by Kazuyo Sejima, the exposition is entitled People meet in architecture
