On 22nd September, Dukascopy bank held its monthly Forex event in Geneva.
The fashion extravaganza come networking event has become an anticipated date in the Swiss calendar with its seamless event organisation and well curated list of discerning guests.
For this event, Dukascopy chose to honour the life and works of Pierre Cardin; who's eponymous label has been at the forefront of avant-garde couture since the 1950’s. From gracing the covers of Vogue and vanity fair to outfitting The Beatles and giving them their signature look, Cardin has successfully earned a place amongst fashion royalty.

Though Pierre Cardin was unable to attend, due to ill health, the 95 year old was represented by two of his closest confidants including Maryse Gaspard. Madame Gaspard is director of couture and brand ambassador for the house of Cardin; as of August 2017 she has been with the house for 51 years. Discovered by Cardin in Paris at the tender age of 18, the designer took a chance on the young model who went on to become the muse for a large part of his collections.
