Salma Hayek has been announced as the new face of the Italian brand, Pomellato. The Oscar-nominated actress, model and activist takes over the role from fellow actress Tilda Swinton making a return to the brand after 20 years.
In 1995, Hayek was photographed by Michel Comte as part of a Pomellato charity campaign.
This year, five images featuring Hayek were shot in Los Angeles by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and were released this weekend ahead of Pomellato's new 'Milano collection', inspired by the city where the company was founded in 1967. Pomellato is controlled by Hayek's husband, François-Henri Pinault and his luxury goods group Kering.
"A Pomellato jewel has the character and power to enhance a woman's personality," said Hayek, "It allows her to reinvent herself every time she wears it."
The collection is available now online and in stores.
