The immersive virtual store, called La Maison de Carres, offers more than 600 models of silk bandanas, shawls, twills, scarves and stoles and has been built to look like its brick-and-mortar boutiques, complete with multiple floors and shop assistants.
The design for the e-store is inspired by Parisian architecture; and while the top floor of the 'multi-storey boutique' stocks large silky bandanas, the floor below has twill wraps in vibrant shades. If you 'walk down' to the ground floor, you can explore their range of equestrian-inspired scarves and animal printed mantillas.
Hermes has thought of everything. The store features a video section, which provides tutorials on how customers can tie their favourite scarf in the best possible style.
While Parisian customers can use the home delivery service - where an Hermes employee will come to you with a selection of scarves you can pick from - buyers from other countries can have their scarves delivered to the Hermes boutique in their country or pick it up in-store.
