If you happened to tune in to the Balmain live stream on Thursday morning, we were impressed by the all-star cast walking the runway.
But even amid the parade of designer Olivier Rousteing's famous models, one particular white suit from the Spring 2015 collection caught fashion insiders' eye... and not in a good way.
Thanks to VFiles, we have a Instagram shot of the Balmain look side by side with a near-identical outfit from Alexander McQueen's spring 1997 collection for Givenchy Haute Couture - the loose-fitting pant, the bra-less styling and, the twisty cutout design in the front.
VFiles captioned the comparison: "Who wore it better? Oliver Rousteing for Balmain S/S 2015 vs Alexander McQueen for Givenchy Haute Couture S/S 1997."
For those interested in seeing the suit from the 1997 Givenchy Haute Couture catwalk show, press here for some great runway footage, also starring Naomi Campbell in all her glory.
Answering VFiles's question: Who do you think wore it better?
