The black mirrored floor should have been the first hint. The room had the distinct feel of 1970’s glam rock disco. The collection is sexy, sleek and dark; mostly black suits, occasionally accompanied by silver accents or metallic shimmer. Trousers were tight, mid-waisted and flared widely from the knee worn with jackets or sequined knits for contrasting textures.
Chunky, high platformed sandals accompanied the looks, in black, white and silver.
Transparent black silk and sequin bandage dresses that expertly cover the bust – just barely – and dresses that featured stars on the nipples were perhaps the most unusual pieces of an otherwise wearable collection.
Speaking of bringing sexy back, did we mention that Bradley Cooper was seated in the front row, beside Anna Wintour?
