Remember those vintage mini packets of Kelloggs’s cereal?
Well, handbag designer Anya Hindmarch is back with a fun and quirky new series of bags, designed to look like those very boxes from your favourite breakfast cereals, creating packaging design inspired clutches for the Autumn/Winter 2014 collection.
The line of clutches is the latest in Anya’s style of bringing luxury to the not-so-luxurious world of grocery items. And using vintage packaging art to create her cereal box clutches is sure to be a winner.
Anya Hindmarch refers to the collection as a ‘humorous take on everyday item’ that is sure to add quirkiness to any ensemble.
The bags are digitally printed python skin with suede lining accents and gold hardware closures, thanks to a third-generation miniaudiere maker in Florence.
The gold-tone push button clasps have Anya Hindmarch engraved bow. The clutches measure 15.5 cm by 8.8 cm, and come in various mini-mart product designs like Coco Pops, Corn Flakes, Frosties and matchboxes.
Items from Anya’s Imperial Clutch collection from the Counter Culture line can be found at her stores worldwide or on her online boutique. You can also see her latest clutch designs by following her on Instagram.
