This autumn, Louis Vuitton has put together the “Louis Vuitton Fashion Photography” album, bringing together nearly 200 images by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Henry Clarke, Patrick Demarchelier, Annie Leibovitz, Peter Lindbergh, Craig McDean, Steven Meisel, Helmut Newton, Juergen Teller, Mario Testino, and Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, among others, which will be published by Rizzoli New York.
The images feature Louis Vuitton products in everything from advertising campaigns to fashion articles spanning over 70 years.
The book is divided into three main sections — fashion articles since 1977, Louis Vuitton advertising campaigns and a flashback to the Fifties — each of which has an introduction by photography writer and curator Charlotte Cotton.
The limited-edition book features a white canvas cover with one of three different photographs, by Demarchelier, McDean or Bert Stern. It will be available starting October 1, in English and French versions, in select Louis Vuitton stores worldwide and through louisvuitton.com for 100 euro (130 dollars).
For those of you who can wait till October 15, the edition will retail at 75 euro (85 dollars).
