Fratelli Rossetti are presenting two principal designs for the men's spring/summer 2015 season. Brera Sport is a reinterpretation of a classic design by Renzo Rossetti dating back to the 1970s, a loafer with tassels. At theat time they were style-setting, and today they have changed yet again, with a comfortable rubber sole.
Hobo Sport is even more casual, with white soles, a pierced design on the toe, and holes for laces, even though it is supplied without. You have the choice. In a way, Hobo is a mix between Oxford and Derby, and the rubber soles makes the design informal and versatile.
Both models are made in a wide range of materials and colours, for a total of twenty Brera and twenty Hobo. Colours are new for the season, and some of the models are made using the Toledo technique in which colour is applied by sponge. This gives the colour a non-uniform finish, so that every pair of shoes is unique.
One of the major themes in fashion for the spring/summer 2015 season is male-female crossover, and these shoes for men reflect something of the female world, above all in the up-tone colours such as turquoise, green and orange.
