To celebrate the launch of Eau Sucrée, the summer 2014 limited edition update of Thierry Mugler’s classic fragrance Angel, the designer has teamed up with French pastry maker Fauchon to create a special edition dessert: a sweet éclair filled with marbled cream.
The new and delectable designer éclair is the perfect union between taste and smell since it includes elements that feature in the composition of the fragrance.
The Fauchon éclair is also filled with Madagascar vanilla cream, hints of lemon and caramel, and a centre of almond praline and bitter chocolate. On the outside, the pastry perfectly matches its perfume counterpart: the pastry is dressed in a powder blue shell, and stars, the symbol of Thierry Mugler's perfume, cover the shell, along with the Angel logo.
The limited edition pastry will be available from May 19 to June 7.
The Eau Sucrée fragrance features notes of red berries, caramelised meringue and base notes of summery patchouli and warm vanilla.
