Once again Christian Louboutin finds inspiration in art world classics for his advertising campaigns.
This time, the source of inspiration for his Spring/Summer 2014 collection, are the Impressionist masters including Monet, Pissarro, and Van Gogh.
Photographer and artist Peter Lipmann has reinterpreted masterpieces such as Camille Pissarro's Pink Peonies, Vincent Van Gogh's Sunflowers, and Fantin-Latour's Roses, juxtaposing sensual shoes and enticing handbags around still life and flowers.
The covetable collection blends perfectly in the paintings of Monet, Van Gogh and Brueghel, as well as all those artists who have made flowers the protagonist of their work. Colours are vibrant, amidst glitzy lace-ups, multi-coloured heels, court shoes, pumps and shiny sandals, while pastel colours dominate the bags.
