French fashion house Nina Ricci has joined forces with Parisian patisserie Ladurée for an enticing, limited edition range of fragrance and macaroons.
The collection consists of a delicately perfumed flavoured macaroon and a macaroon-scented fragrance and candle.
Thanks to the expert collaboration between Master Perfumer Olivier Cresp and the New Creations Pastry Chef, Vincent Lemains, they have created a perfect balance between a macaroon-like fragrance and a perfume-like macaroon.
Dubbed La Tentation de Nina, the perfume is fresh and fruity, infused with notes of lemon, rose, vanilla, almond and raspberry, and bottled in the signature Nina Ricci apple-shaped bottle, which has succumbed to temptation for the first time, with a bite in the apple that exposes a hint of gold.
The matching macaroons are flavoured with lemon and rose and are lovingly filled with raspberry jam. In shocking pink, they are topped with gold leaf, and presented in a special collector’s box. The collection also includes a fabulous candle adorned with the Ladurée motif - perfect gifts for the up-coming Valentine’s Day celebrations.
