Burberry Prorsum - Spring 2013 Featured

A high glam show worth stopping for

LONDON - Burberry Prorsum spring/summer 2013 was unlike anything we have
ever seen from the house of Burberry. Christopher Bailey was truly at his very best
delivering a show stopping series of looks in which each of the 46 looks was a star
in its own right, culminating into the runway finale where a parade of shiny pink,
violet and blue trenches assaulted the eyes (in a good way) as the models came
out in a tour de force performance. Of the exciting show, Chief Creative Officer
Christopher Bailey  emphasized the importance of entertaining a global audience,
"we wanted our audiences around the world to share in this experience, bringing
a smile to their faces whether watching on their mobiles, in the show space or at
our first live global event at Burberry Regent Street." The Regent Street store made
last week as it became the largest ever monobrand store for the brand.

The Corsets & Capes theme of the new spring/summer 2013 collection
explored these ultra feminine silhouettes in a rainbow of colours and a
myriad of textures starting with cape trenches which were followed by
corseted tops and cropped bombers. Our favourites included the 'too
perfect to possibly swim in' ruched swimsuits which were worn under
dramatic broad-shouldered coats. Colours ranged from vavoom fucshia
to ink blue, lipstick red, green and copper. The new must-have accessories
include the new Splash sunglasses, the 'Blaze' bag which is just as shiny
as the trenches and the satin and metallic peep-toe wedges.

For one week only, the collection is available for purchase
on Burberry.com and can be shipped globally in just eight
weeks, meaning you can have a piece of it before anybody
else has even seen it in store! Want to see the whole collection?
