The British brand Mulberry have presented their Union Jack collection right on time for the Diamond Jubilee. It comprises pieces that are re-editions of iconic designs, featuring the Union flag on the brass postman's lock fastening plate.
The Union Jack Lily (below) is in oak-colour natural leather or oak ostrich, with a 'Mulberry loves Britain' (spelled out in symbols) plaque inside. With soft gold components and a multi-way chain strap, it has brushed leather interiors, an internal zip pocket, an internal Mulberry fob, and an external leather fob with a horseshoe charm. Wear it on your sholder, or tuck the strap inside and use it as a clutch. €750.
The Union Jack pouch (below) is simpler in construction, but shares the same Union Jack fastening plate. €250.
The Union Jack Bayswater (below) is a capacious bag with the same special features. Two top handles, a main compartment, one internal zip pocket and two internal slip pockets. €990.
