Bally Spring / Summer 2012 Featured

Fashion Review of the new women's collection

The new women’s Bally collection was a trip back into the brand’s historic archives, which consists of over 10,000 shoe models and 1,200 design illustrations. Creative Directors Michael Herz and Graeme Fidler used these inspirations for a leather heavy collection from shoelaces coats to skirts and full dresses.

New techniques that we’ve seen from Bally before included laser-cut fabrics with small perforations making them lightweight for the warmer season. We were fans of the acqua navy colour combos as well as matching shirts and handbags – that were nicely sized for practical use. Prim neckline dresses had us thinking of Paris in the fifties. Very sweet and perfectly accessorized.
