Couture inspired fashions from the Italian maison

Siviglia is an Italian fashion maison with a mission to give women’s clothing a shape with a couture tendency. In an industry where couture has undergone somewhat of a vanishing act, it is the hope of the brand’s Creative Director Roberto Zardon that his designs can sustain the principles of the institution. Cuts are clean, sections of long column dresses are divided evenly and one-shoulder gowns are asymmetric in structure.

The gowns reminded us of what the starlets of silent films in the 1920s and 1930s might have worn to evening galas. The new line in fact uses geometric lines that shift in tandem with the female figure’s movements – a tribute to the work of musical choreographer Busby Berkeley.
