A romantic and colourful interpretation of urban fashion for women

The Mulberry Spring Summer 2011 campaign bring a fairy tale look to current fashion trends highlighting the maison's romantic pastel colours and looks for the season. The shoot combined floral surroundings and tongue-in-cheek rural images, with models Lindsey Wixson and Nimue Smit wearing orange-red wigs and lounging decadently in the company of a piglet and lots of flowers. The collection is underpinned by inspiration from the novel "The Secret Garden" by Frances Hodgson Burnett, and the set for the shoot consisted of a room at Eglingham Hall in Northumberland, which was filled with hundreds of flowers accompanying the models and bags.

Photographer is Tim Walker, an expert in creating an atmosphere straight out of the fables. He has cleverly used scale, styling and scenery to create complex and ethereal images, a perfect match to Mulberry's products for the season. Styling by Edward Enniful.
