The blog has a name now. Tory Daily, at blog.toryburch.com, is where the house publishes, and it has settled into eight standing sections: Issues, Style, Beauty, Culture, Travel, Entertaining, Music and Sport.
That is worth comparing with what this magazine described when the thing was new. The report of the day listed the topics a reader could navigate by as style, culture, travel, entertaining, experts and music, and it covered a revamped iPad and iPhone app that updated daily and paid its readers in free shipping and invitations to events. Most of those topics survive as headings. The app has quietly given way to the browser. That is the ordinary fate of a fashion app from that decade.
What Tory Daily runs is house business and the things around it. The Fall/Winter campaign, Jamie Hawkesworth’s pictures of Alex Consani, Awar Odhiang and Hejia Lee, is there with a Met Gala report in which the guests were the actress Camila Morrone and the musician Laufey. It is an editorial page attached to a shop, and it does not pretend otherwise.
The house itself was founded in February 2004, with a first store in Nolita. Long enough for a brand blog to stop being a novelty and start being the archive. That is roughly what Tory Daily has become.
