MILAN - With its maisons in the most glamorous fashion capitals of Paris, New York and Hong Kong, Longchamp finally has a place to hang its hat in Milan. Where better for the brand's punchy, colourful Le Pliage bags to make their home than on Via della Spiga? Right in the heart of the Golden Quadrilateral, this two-floor space will be the first boutique to also sell Longchamp's new clothing collections.
A men's line of luggage, accessories and ready-to-wear fashions is also sold here. Longchamp is also forging an Italian home for part of its production, CEO Jean Cassegrain confirmed that the men's and women's footwear be made entirely in Italy starting next season.
Next up, the brand is eyeing Rome and Monte Carlo for its next boutiques.
