Axo Light is a company based in Scorzè, near Venice, making very original lighting appliances ideal for luxury interiors. For example, Spillray is a fascinating range of suspension lamps consisting of a series of upturned goblets, creating a pattern of overlapping transparencies and contrasting colours, the latter generated by the possibility of fitting coloured light sources. Diffusers are in glass, and they are made in three sizes and in the following versions: single, in series with 6 and 10 lights, and a circular arrangement of 3 and 12 lights. Spillray is offered in a colour choice of clear, orange, red and grey, with chrome-plated metal frame. It is also available as a wall light. It fits a 12V halogen bulb.
Another iconic product by Axo Light is Kudlik, "the light that came in from the cold." The name comes from the oil lamp used by the Inuit eskimo population to light, heat and cook inside their igloos, and the association is reinforced by the ice-white colour and the bell-shaped design. Like the stove inside an igloo, this lamp has a warm light source within a cool exterior, and it confers a touch of simpicity and sophistication on any interior. The diffuser is in etched white blown glass with a white-painted metal frame. It is available in two sizes: 35 cm and 50 cm diameter, with a fluorescent bulb.
