The 33rd Festival International de la Plaisance, Cannes opens on 8 September 2010 and runs until 13 September. It is the first showcase of the season for luxury yachts, and so Itama has chosen it for the premier presentation of its new Itama Sixty.
At Cannes, Itama provide the opportunity for a sea test, definitely an interesting experience for this luxury sports yacht. The Itama Sixty has rugged, streamlined lines, and it offers great performance and fine sea handling. Its 2 MAN engines, each 1550 HP, provide an effortless 478 knot cruising speed. The hull's rigidity is enhanced by the use of aramidic fibre, and this further improves performance at speed. The windscreen not only helps define the look of the yacht: it also ensures protection while leaving passengers in the cockpit in exhilarating contact with the marine atmosphere.
Interior design confirms Itama's successful approach at utilizing all interior space to best advantage. The sense of freedom offered by the spacious cockpit layout is also apparent below deck.
The Itama Seventyfive, the marque's current flagship, will also be at Cannes and available for sea tests.
Itama is a brand belonging to Gruppo Ferretti, one of the leading companies in the world for the design, construction and marketing of motor yachts.
