This is a great year in Italian history. Not only does it mark the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy, but it also marks the 90th anniversary of the house of Gucci. What better way to celebrate than by combining two Italian classics? The 500 is one of FIAT's iconic car models, and its redesign two years ago has once again made it a favourite. Gucci on the other hand is one of Italy's leading labels in luxury leather goods and fashion.
So, what is the result of this unusual combination? An adorable '500 by Gucci:' a Fiat 500 in black or white adorned with Gucci's iconic red and green trim. In addition, special chrome details, in bright finish on the black model, satin finish for the white. The rims have also been re-designed with a retro look and colour to match the interior.
After you've enjoyed the exterior take a look inside. The car is lavishly decorated. Seats are 2-toned with Frau leather and Gucci's double 'G' Guccissima print. The dashboard is paint-coated and also with shiny chrome details. Our pick? The convertible version which, as Gucci's Creative Director Frida Giannini states, features a 'window to the sky.' The convertible top features Gucci's web pattern, as do the seat belts. So buckle up and hit the road!
