Montblanc has opened its first boutique in New York City. The store is located in a prime retail location along Madison Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. The opening was celebrated with an event co-hosted with Josh Lucas. Guests in attendance included Montblanc CEO Jerome Lamber and Montblanc North America CEO Jan-Patrick Schmitz, as well as celebrities such as Olivia Munn, Anthony Mackie, Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl, Karlie Kloss, and topaz Page-Green.
The boutique is a contemporary 3,200 square foot space with beautiful Swarovski crystal curved glass floating chandeliers. The store reflects Montblanc’s celebration of the written word. The opening featured limited edition and exceptionally rare writing pieces that honoured Montblanc’s more than 100-year history.
“Montblanc has proudly been a part of the New York City community since 2003,” said Schmitz. “As a global leader in exquisite writing instruments and men’s accessories, we are eager to welcome our New York City family and travellers alike to our new home.”
The boutique also showcased the limited edition “Signature for Good Collection.” Ten per cent of the retail sales of the special edition collection will go towards UNICEF with the mission to improve education access around the world.
