Ralph Lauren's 2-Year Restoration Project Culminates in Exclusive Event

by 17 October 2013

For the past two years, Ralph Lauren has been making good on his pledge to restore L’Ecole des Beaux-Arts, a famous building housing one of Paris’ most well-known art schools. The building had required renovation for a while before Mr. Lauren decided to start a restoration program, funded primarily from his personal fortune.

“I have always believed in preserving places that inform our history and culture. When I understood the Ecole des Beaux-Arts needed renovation I was moved to help the artists, students, and all creative people to safeguard their environment,” said Mr. Lauren on the project.

The culmination of the project was celebrated with an exclusive viewing of the Ralph Lauren Fall 2013 Collection. The viewing and the private black-tie dinner were attended by luminaries such as Mr. Lauren himself, his family, Princess Charlene of Monaco, United States Ambassador to France Charles Rivkin, and many others.
