Gucci has announced the opening of its first European flagship for men in the Brera district of Milan, right opposite the Brera gallery and art academy. The 500-square-metre store is on three floors, with design supervision by Creative Director Frida Giannini. The concept is an open-space design with warm, luxurious materials and natural lighting, creating a very contemporary look. At the entrance, backlit panels with the brand's diamond motif; inside, ebony, rosewood, grey marble, grooved glass, satin-finish bronze, mirrors and smoked glass, with Art Deco references.

On the ground floor, all the collections for men are displayed: menswear, footwear, lugggage, lifestyle accessories, leather goods, sunglasses, watches, jewellery and fragrances. On the first floor, there is a VIP area for the Made to Measure tailoring service, and the Made to Order footwear service. In addition to tailoring, customers can choose from a wide range of shirts.
