ABaC Restaurant, part of the 5-star ABaC Hotel in Barcelona, has won another culinary award in addition to its two Michelin stars. For 2013, it has been awarded three Repsol 'Soles.' The Repsol guide is the most prestigious Spanish food guide, with awards issued by the Academia Española de la Gastronomía and the Cofradia de la Buena Mesa (Brotherhood of good food).
Chef Jordi Cruz became the youngest Spanish chef to win a Michelin star at the restaurant L'Estany Clar, while in 2006 he won the first edition of Chef of the Year. His cuisine can be defined as evolutionary and restless, based on quality products, creativity and tradition.
The hotel is a unique experience, both in terms of its restaurant, and its accommodation, with just 15 luxury rooms and suites. Guests at the hotel can visit the restaurant kitchen, designed by Joaquim Casademonte. Other facilities include a cellar with 900 labels, meeting room, and a Spa featuring British skincare brand Elemis.
