Grissini's chef Andrea Fraire presents Tuscan specialities from 1 to 30 April 2012.
Tuscany, a region in central Italy famous for its landscapes and architecture, has a unique culinary tradition. Tuscan cuisine is genuine and down to earth, utilizing the freshest locally-grown ingredients and simple methods of preparation that generally don't include heavy sauces. Grissini’s Tuscan menu features these local produces, including vegetables, herbs and many more.
Some highlights of the menu are: Tomatoes and Bread Salad Tuscan Style with Roasted Octopus; “Corbezzolo” Honey Citronette; Livornese Style Fish Soup with Herbs; Roasted Pigeon Breast and Leg, with Chianti Demi Glace, Glazed Spring Onion and Sauteed Spinach. The three-course and five-course set menu is priced at HKD 780 + 10% per person and HKD 1,180 + 10% per person respectively, available for dinner only. An à la carte menu is also available.
Tuscany is also home to many notable wineries, producing excellent red wines in a considerable spectrum of grape varietals.
