A luxury St. Valentines at the Mandarin Oriental, Munich

The Mandarin Oriental hotel in Munich has presented a glittering luxury package for St. Valentines, titled "Diamonds are a girl's best friend." On arrival, guests will find a bottle of Dom Perignon vintage champagne in their suite, with strawberries in chocolate. In the evening they can enjoy a meal at the hotel's Mark's restaurant, which has the accolade of a Michelin star. The special St. Valentine's menu comprises six refined courses. However the glittering final touch is a ring with a one-carat diamond, crafted by renowned jeweller H. Stern.

The package includes a one-night stay for two people in the hotel's luxury Mandarin Suite; the H. Stern diamond ring; the champagne and strawberries in chocolate as detailed above; the St. Valentine's dinner in the Mark's restaurant; couverture service with rose petals sprinkled over the bed; a champagne breakfast for two in bed.
