Park Hyatt Paris-Vend̫me РMasters of Food & Wine, 24 and 25 March

We have all probably dreamt of taking a peek behind the scenes of a prestigious venue such as a Michelin-starred restaurant, and to be the lucky person to whom the chef reveals his secrets. 
The Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme will present the fascinating world of the culinary arts with the second edition of the food and wine programme titled "Park Hyatt Masters of Food and Wine 2012," which will be taking place on 24 and 25 March 2012. The event comprises two principal activities during the weekend.

On Saturday, 24 March, participants will attend a lesson focusing on the "Art de la Table" in respect of French tradition and the Park Hyatt spirit. This lesson will be guided by Jean François Le Dû, who has been working in the sector for 30 years. This lesson provides an in-depth survey of setting a table according to the rules of etiquette. You can continue this pleasant experience with a gourmet dinner at the chef’s table.

Option 1: Arts de la Table lesson from 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m., followed by a cocktail and a gourmet dinner at the chef’s table from 8.00 p.m.  Price: €200 per person, including the two-hour lesson and the gourmet dinner.
Option 2: Arts de la Table lesson from 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m., followed by a cocktail.
Price: €120 per person, including a two-hour lesson and a glass of champagne.

On Sunday 25 March, Jean-François Rouquette will take you to the famous Les Enfants Rouges market and talk about his favourite products. You will also get some advice for special homemade recipes. The trip to the market will be followed by a gourmet lunch at the hotel's starred restaurant, Le Pur’. There, the sommelier will select a number of wines to match the courses of the meal.

Price: €160 per person, including the market trip, the gourmet lunch, the wine selection and a gift.
