Not a trade fair, not a workshop, but an event-club, a meeting designed for a very select group of exhibitors and VIP buyers. Sensoh Europe, held at Hotel Principe di Savoia, Milan, from 2 to 4 July 2012, is dedicated to luxury tourism products in the areas of European lakes, mountains and spas. This year is the first time that it has been produced, but the organizers, Nebe, have already proved the concept's success with the analogous event Mediterranean Luxury Club, presenting luxury in the Mediterranean area. LUXOS will be present as a media partner.
The characteristics of these tourist products are closely connected to luxury lifestyle: exhibitors all share a long tradition of quality hospitality, a passion for beautiful things and impeccable services, and an awareness of the importance of the destination for a luxury holiday. A unique setting, architectural prestige and a lovely landscape create the frame for unforgettable experiences.
Elisabetta Neri, Nebe director, said, "We are presenting the effective formula of meetings in which both guests and the exhibiting structures are carefully selected, and brought together in a peaceful and welcoming setting, providing the best conditions in which to interact. The programme includes moments of fine dining, with lunches and dinners that further encourage mutual understanding and familiarity. International buyers are offered unique opportunities for learning about the finest luxury tourism resources, and they have the opportunity of gaining first-hand experience of some of these by means of pre- and post-events, with visits to locations such as Lausanne, Gstaad, St. Moritz, Lake Como and Lake Garda."
About 60 exhibitors will be presenting their services and facilities, from the Alps to central European spas, from Italy's arcadian lakes to the ancient and mysterious landscapes of Scotland. Switzerland will be a highlight, with a special focus section and eight prestige structures.
Partners in the event include the Principe di Savoia hotel, Milan, Armani Hotel Milano, the Baglioni Hotel Carlton, the new Château Monfort, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Milano, Boscolo Hotel Milano, Starhotels Rosa Grand, and, amongst the media partners, LUXOS magazine. The guests expected at the event comprise over 100 VIP buyers, consisting of luxury travel agencies and tour operators, travel designers, spa and wellness specialists, wedding travel planners, special events planners, corporate meeting planners, MICE agencies, associations, clubs, and gay/lesbian travel agencies. The days 2 and 3 July will be dedicated to international buyers, while 4 July will be the day principally for Italian buyers.
