Winter Exhibitions in Milan
Milan’s galleries cover just about every medium this season, beginning with ‘Egypt’ at Mudec. It presents the story of the Egyptian civilisation through the life of Pharaoh Amenhotep II. Meanwhile at Hangar Bicocca, the ‘environments’ by mid-20th-century Italian artist Lucio Fontana have been reconstructed. The exhibition plays with your perception of space in a bewildering way. At Castello Sforzesco, the Museum of Decorative Arts has reopened, presenting a social history of Italy through 1,300 pieces from the Middle Ages to the present.
