Having played host to some of Italy’s finest brands and daring installations in recent years, Palazzo Reale opens its doors throughout the seasons with dramatic exhibitions, inspiring installations and thought provoking works. In traveller lingo, that means you will not be disappointed. We strongly suggest that you look up and around as you grace the grand halls and admire the current exhibits, allowing you to take a journey in this building's past, the majority of which was heavily damaged during the bombings of the Second World War. Everything was left as it was - it is at one piercing and strikingly beautiful. There is something regal in the damaged statues that proudly grace their place on the elevated podiums, determined to keep the show going - and they do. Afterwards, you can snap back to the future with an aperitivo at the bar of the palazzo.
